Hello Canadians......according to my site stats.....you folks visit my site quite a bit. Penny goes sunbathing

We've had an incredibly glorious sunny weekend. Penny and I worked extra hard this week on Scentsy so we went out to enjoy this unusual nice weather. Went for icecream, had a pub lunch and went sunbathing in the park. Unlike Penny who remembered her sunblock ....I forgot and am completely burned all over. Must listen to her next time as pigs know best. ;)

There is NO SOOT, NO LEAD and NO FLAME. Scentsy warmers are electric and use LED lightbulbs to heat a hotplate which then gently warms the cubes of wax in the warmer dish. The scent is then released and the wax never dissipates into the air or in your lungs either. Diamond Jubilee Gifts : Scentsy edition

So I've managed to see the Queen in person TWICE since living in London. Once for the Royal Wedding of Kate and William. We stood outside for nearly 6 hrs crammed with bazillions of people. But we saw Kate, William and of course the Queen herself. It was only less than 10 minutes the procession but still very very cool:

I also saw her again and was only about a foot away recently when she came to Greenwich, London for the rededication of the Cutty Sark. She was walking through the crowds and stopped to accept some flowers....which happened to be a girl just in front of me. She's SOOOO little and so adorable. Although I'm American, I've come to respect the Queen and what she means for the UK. She's got such a presence and is very well loved here.

I can't wait for the Diamond Jubilee celebration coming up at the beginning of June. Planning to go and have a good time (maybe even take Penny the Pig along to meet her majesty- LOL).

With this kind of celebration and with the upcoming Olympics, the products are everywhere obviously. A lot of it is incredibly ugly...but you do have to wade through it to find the real treasures.

If you ever visit the UK, I'd highly recommend going to the Tower of London for just one thing---to see the crown jewels. VERY impressive. I know the Queen has a Tiara too for smaller occassions and I imagine its just as sparkly as The Tiara Warmer.

French Kiss

I have been to Paris quite often and at least get there once a year. If I could afford to have a house there I would because I consider it almost my second home. I feel comfortable there and ease and sooooo relaxed. Although we do hit the galleries and museums occasionally now our trips mostly consist of wandering the side streets, sitting in cafe's and watching the world go by.

The Word 'French Kiss' not only conjures up an old 90's movie with Meg Ryan and Kevin Cline but the romance of the city and yes the couples wandering the banks next to the river and Notre Dame stealing a kiss or two or three.

Some of you who frequent my blog know that I adore photography. Well.....Paris is one of my favourite things to shoot. All of these pictures you see below I've taken on trips to Paris.

Not this last trip but the trip before we did a cooking class IN PARIS in someone's home and it was divine. The only reason why I mention this is because for dessert we had figs and it was my first time I had figs. We bought them fresh from the market there and took them to the home we would be cooking. We drizzled honey and nuts over the top after they had been put in the oven for a little while. They looked and smelled GORGEOUS.

When I smell Scenty's French Kiss with its fig, coconut and caramel......I instantly think of this cooking class and the amazing time I had:

I also think of the many memories I've had wandering the streets and the Marais, the cafe stops, the food, the sounds, the little shops. J'adore Paris:

Fragrance Friday: Luna

Luna is one of our newest Solid Perfumes with Scentsy. Of course it makes me think of the moon and all things twinkly/sparkly. The catalogue description describes it as.....

'White florals- jasmine, sweet pea and freesia - juicy berries, and sandalwood shimmer like moonlight".

Luna the Scentsy bar is fantastic but I really think its absolutely perfect as a solid perfume. Its one of my favourites next to My Wish. I love the blue lettering too...who doesn't know the classic song 'Blue Moon'?
